1. Executive Dashboard Amtek comprise of many verticals and MRM data was used as input to compare sales vs manufacturing data along with revenue, quality and Ebitida/EBT

Existed Dashboards were tweaked to reflect SAS VA forecast guidance to know the variation from budgeted/plan.

SAP integration was still not complete, the excel sheets were used to import data from various vertical/regions.

Created BPM application to track Quality issues across plants and integrated with SAS VA

Worked on a cloud based POC from Qlikview in line with planned move to cloud, this facilitated providing greater flexibility to executives and the supporting team to create on demand reports as per the need.

2. CAPEX planning workbench Amtek comprise of many verticals and Capex projects are tracked for ROI, Fund requirement and budget vs actual metrics.

Creation of multiple reports categorised by Vertical, company and regions wise.

The reports reflect revenue actual vs budget, Turnover, Ebitda related metrics data across the category.

3. Barista Essbase transition

Barista chain of restaurants were acquired by Amtek auto, was involved in M&A team to transition BI reports from Essbase to Microsoft BI suite as stock gap arrangement. Created a EDW & BI roadmap for transition to self service Bi using Qlik view/sense integration with SAP adapter for Qlik.

Transition 14 reports, spread over 3 broad categories Company, Owned stores, New stores, Commissary. The reports reflect revenue actual vs budget, Turnover, Ebitda related metrics data across the category

Several POC’s were conducted to ascertain the right fit on the basis of Capex and Opex cost for each.

1. Your Benefits Resource (YBR 5.0) Your Benefits Resource (YBR 5.0) is one of the Largest Web Interface used by the Hewitt Clients to enroll into services like Defined Benefits, Defined Contributions and Health Management.

Analysis of existing OLTP Systems. Extensively involved in creation of Informatica mappings for extracting the source data and transformed the data into target tables according to business logic.

Implemented performance tuning by optimizing the mappings and sessions to increase the session performance as well as Unit testing and Functional testing.

Created reports in Cognos Report Net and HTML

2. Capgemini Defined Benefits and Recruitment Warehouse Capgemini HR of North American region was outsourced to Hewitt, the data warehouse was in Oracle which used to pull data from peoplesoft and ODS. Business Object and Excel reports were used to publish dashboard reflecting employee turnover and attrition. We had to publish 4 reports daily and at the end of month payroll and befit data was combined with turnover numbers to generate executive dashboard and set of 11 report reflect region/BU wise reports.

Led the intial transition from capgemini to Hewitt and later transition to offshore location at Gurgaon.

Managed a team of 20 including business analyst, ETL & BI developers/testers to deliver the reports as per schedule.

Led technical migration of select reports from oracle/excel to informatica/cognos

Created Detailed Low Level Design Documents.

Designed & Developed Informatica code, creating sessions and workflows for Data Loads.

Review Informatica mappings to verify Coding Standards. Designed solutions to improve performance by tuning the mappings in Informatica and SQL tuning using Indexes.
