Assign too independently provide field oversight of construction activities for a $380 Million dollar FEMA reimbursed recovery program in reestablishment of New Orleans Parish Prison Facility. The program involved multiple work sheet packages that involved demolition, repairs, upgrades, studies of existing structure and new facility construction. My primary responsibilities provide oversight of all field activities during start up phase, monitor construction for compliance to contractual agreements. Address arising issues in the field or at upper level management meetings for resolution involved with public safety, traffic control, Right of Ways, Easements, Utilities, Security, Logistics and Coordination. In support of Construction Manager worked directly with contractor’s project management team in review construction bids for comparison and cost negotiation, establishing line idem break down of components, coordinate and adjustment payment schedule in conjunction with critical path schedule. Detect and directly address discrepancy with of amounts for materials and work pricing. Investigate and calculate payment changes request. Make line idem changes appropriate to construction schedule, review project invoices and track budgets and found allocations.

During production phase, responsible for coordination and oversight, lead QA/QC inspection team daily activities to ensure work was in compliance to projects contracts in conduction of detail inspection and material test requirements, detect deviation of work, unsuitable material and workmanship from design plans and specification, building codes and safety standards. Independently address discrepancy and deviation issues with contractors and engineering design team for resolution; keeping upper construction management apprised of significant issues. Inspect materials and components entering in to construction for compliance to specification and payment application records. Write detailed progress and inspection reports commenting on materials, work areas, crews, construction and safety issues encountered. Maintain inspection and material test records and project log. Participate in progress, design and construction resolution meetings. In support of Construction Managers liaison with public official, utility providers, third party consultants, coordinate construction activities with owner and contractors.
