Project Manager – Supply Chain

Liaison between BHI Supply Chain and Gulf of Mexico (GoM) Operations for the supply chain management of all deep water and continental shelf Completion & Production (C&P) projects in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and track the project orders and deliveries for all GoM C&P Projects.

Track project orders through the Frontend (FE) process (engineering clarification, quality, costing, methods, and manufacturing entry), throughout manufacturing, assembly, and testing; until delivered to operations.

Maintain the manufacturing updates for all C&P project order deliveries for GoM Sales and Operations.

Maintain GoM customer need dates for all C&P project orders for BHI Supply Chain.

Identify, prioritize, and maintain GoM critical business orders for enhanced supply chain focus and effort.

Identify, escalate, negotiate, and resolve C&P project order delivery issues between supply chain and operations.

Maintain, report, and forecast quarterly product revenue for all deep water C&P projects. Major Accomplishments:

Single point of contact for GoM operations for all C&P manufacturing, delivery, and prioritization questions/issues; resulting in improved on-time delivery and issue resolution. o BHI record completions revenue and profits for the Gulf of Mexico region in Q3& Q4 2013.

Created and maintained the process to track, report, and update GoM district operations on their C&P project order deliveries from supply chain through the use of the GoM C&P Projects Delivery Summary report.

Created the logic and project managed the development and launch of the GoM C&P Projects database which automated and standardized the product revenue reporting process, evaluated supply chain order delivery impact on C&P project revenue, and created financial forecast models for product revenue. Drilling & Evaluation Program Management Office (PMO) Project Manager

Managed the engineering development and product launch of new drilling system and wireline products and product upgrades for the Drilling & Evaluation (D&E) product lines. Responsibilities:

Manage the engineering development of projects through the entire stage/gate Product Development Management

(PDM) process from concept development through production launch.

Plan and manage all different disciplines of a project (mechanical, electrical, software, testing, etc.).

Validation / Reliability Engineer

Engineer responsible for the validation, reliability, and certification of the entire vehicle brake system. Responsibilities:

Validation and certification of 15 different vehicle programs.

Create and managed Learning Analysis Design Validation (LADV) plans for vehicle commodity validation.

Participate in GM tech reviews of suppliers to determine if the supplier is adequately equipped and capable to meet General Motors’ standards for design, testing, validation, production, and quality.

Actively engaged with Design Release Engineers (DRE) to develop encompassing DFMEA for new program brake system and completing a design review (DRBFM) for any changes to the current program brake systems.

Work with suppliers to create, maintain, and approve component specific Design and Validation Plans and Reports.

Schedule and lead Design Review Based on Test Results (DRBTR) for vehicle brake system for all lab testing and end of test teardown for durability vehicle testing.

High Performance Vehicle Operations (HPVO): Completed research and development thesis project. Lead engineer for the “Hardware Development of the Ecotec 2.2L Bolt-on Supercharger Kit for the 2002 – 04 J-car platform”. Used the supercharger on the Supercharged Ecotec 2.0L (LSJ) engine to create a bolt on supercharger kit for the Ecotec 2.2L engine Integrated higher flow fuel injectors to deliver adequate fuel for proper air/fuel mixture combustion to deliver optimum engine horsepower. Designed modified manifold studs, sensor jumper harness, and brackets used to bolt on the supercharger. Created programming for the engine control module to recognize the supercharger addition and upgrade.

Design Quality and Validation: Created Finite Element (FE) models using Hypermesh. Applied constraints, forces, and material properties. Analyzed results to determine design robustness and created analysis reports.

HVAC/Powertrain Cooling/Thermo: Maintained test vehicles to ensure that they were outfitted with the latest design released parts, installed and monitored all SMT thermocouple requests. Scheduled and ran vehicle tests for powertrain cooling and thermo data at the Climatic Wind Tunnel and at the Desert Proving Grounds (DPG). Prepped and ran vehicles for A/C testing and failure mode thermo testing at the DPG. Analyzed all collected data; created graphs, spread sheets, and charts; wrote final test reports and presented the results to engineering and management.

Energy Center: Worked on C.A.F.E. requirements, collected and reviewed competitor data, created Unigraphics Mass estimation coefficient. Designed presentations and training files for new group members. Maintained project tracking database.
