Kennecott Utah Copper - Magna, Utah 1997 - 1998

Metallurgical Engineer: provided technical assistance to By-Products Operations personnel in state-of-the-art copper smelter supporting annual earnings from operations of $45 million/year. Responsible for troubleshooting operational problems in three processes: steam generation, hydrometallurgical separation and sulfuric acid production.

Hoechst Celanese Chemical Group - Houston, Texas 1993 - 1997

Metallurgical Engineer: served as metallurgical consultant for eight operating units. Directed maintenance crew to maintain long-term reliability of process equipment in a $500,000 per-day operating unit. Presented technical paper at Shell Oil Users Conference, The Hague, The Netherlands.
