PERSONAL SUMMARY

My gifts and passion for sales, sales training, marketing and the related administration of these activities have been my focus for the last several years. I understand the selling cycle and the need to focus on proactive activities, follow up and relationship-based selling principles. I believe in the importance of building strong departmental teams devoted to creating repeat customers

Over the years I have been exposed to a variety of sales training programs in different industries and have become a student of ‘best practices’. I enjoy the creative process and have had the opportunity to develop training programs for sales, fixed operations and some aspects of manufacturing operations based on these principles. I derive great satisfaction from challenging others to move outside their comfort zones to learn and embrace the practices that the most successful salespeople and organizations have learned to employ. I love developing new and effective ways to communicate principles.

I have enjoyed opportunities to learn from and engage a diverse group of customers both in Canada and abroad while gaining experience in sales and marketing. I have experience in the manufacturing and distribution sector and have a working knowledge of the principles of logistics, efficiencies and internal communications associated with producing quality products in a timely fashion.

I am comfortable in the leadership role; taking initiatives and making decisions.

I have successfully performed in both the ‘direct to consumer’ and ‘B to B’ sales environments.

I have had experience in public presentations in a variety of locations in western Canada and enjoy the role of facilitator to both large and small audiences.
