PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

GDF SUEZ is a global energy player and an expert operator in the three key sectors of electricity, natural gas and Energy services.

Using computerized systems to control, start, shut down and track the operation of boilers and related equipment, as well as using automatic or manual controls.

Monitoring alarms, gauges and other instruments associated with plant operations (HRSG gas turbine generator, steam turbine, and water tube boilers).

Troubleshooting and taking corrective action to prevent equipment or system failures.

Isolating and locking out equipment mechanically and electrically for inspection and repair.

Ensuring that equipment and processes operate at maximum efficiency.

Doing chemical tests of boiler water and other process samples (boiler feed water, condensate returns, and softener).

Interpreting chemical tests of boiler and other process water, to determine appropriate chemical treatments.

Preparing equipment for maintenance and inspection (for example, shut down, lock out, restart).

Working with outside agencies, consultants and contractors (cleaning and maintaining burners, refitting gas line piping).

Operate steam boilers, air compressors, water softeners, air dryers, pumps, and fans.

Track and log all Gas, Water, and Hydro Readings

Perform all tasks related to the safe and efficient operation of the Steam Boiler plant including repairs and maintenance.

CEMS monitoring

Perform routine inspection and testing of equipment to ensure proper operation.

Document air compressor readings, all plant steam produced and consumption, gas consumption. Supply gas forecasts to gas supplier.

Performs water analysis on boilers. Complete daily, weekly, monthly log report

Test runs the safety and standby equipment.

Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feed water heaters, filters, and chlorinators, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power.

Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems

Operate or control power-generating equipment, including boilers, turbines, generators, using controls boards or semi-automatic equipment.

Regulate equipment operations and conditions such as water levels, based on data.

Take readings from charts, meters and gauges at established intervals, and take corrective steps as necessary.

Gates is the world’s largest manufacturer of power transmission belts for problem-solving applications. Gates manufactures V belts for speciality drives, synchronous timing belts, crankshaft dampers, tensioners and idlers for both accessory and synchronous drive systems.

Establish kanban on containers being delivered from the supermarket market, kanban for finished goods and kanban for the parts being replenished at the market.

Developed the value stream maps for current and future state for all 12 assembly lines using I-GRAPHIX and MS-EXCEL.

Developed PFEP (Plan for every part) spreadsheet/database which includes in excess of 30 pieces of information from several different departments on 13000 + components and 336 finished goods.

Developed supermarket/decanting area and tugger routes
