Coordinated and executed the deployment of new MS Server 2008 Hardware and Software suite throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area for 25 + classified and unclassified sites. The work involved planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the systems environment in support of the organization’s IT architecture and business needs. As a System Engineer it was my job to produce projects deliverables to senior management in accordance with the Information Technology directorates Project Management Lifecycle model. Provided hands-on support for building, configuring, and deploying DELL and HP Laptops, thick and thin-client hardware with diverse operating systems and indigenous software. Spearheaded the deployment of 100+ HP MFP Secure printers with Smart Card technology across multiple domains to remote customers. Managed and monitored network capacity and performance through the use of Service-Now Products. Coordinated network problems with the Telecomm and Network LAN/WAN Administrators during power disruptions and outages, crypto malfunctioning, and Telecomm failures.
