RELATED EXPERIENCE

QuadMed (2015-present) - Clinic Manager Walmart Care Clinics- Georgia- Oversee daily operations for five Georgia Walmart Care Clinics and one clinic in Tyler, Texas. Responsible for staffing, quality, payroll, supply management, and clinical quality in each clinic. Problem resolution in all clinics. Work closely with Health and Wellness Regional Directors to facilitate growth and develop outreach for each clinic. Manage day-to-day operations and work with all clinical staff to promote exceptional customer service and providing quality care to all patients. Member of the NP Advisory Board and the Clinical Quality Committee. Responsible for approximately 40 staff members (NP’s and MA’s). Maintained the lowest vacancy rate over all clinics within the primary care retail clinics.

QuadMed (2014-2015) - Lead Nurse Practitioner-State of Georgia. Oversee all nurse practitioners working in the Walmart Care Clinics in Georgia. Provide guidance for quality issues, collaborate with oversight physicians. Recently, served as Clinic Manager. Assist in development of work schedules, monitor and approve payroll and supplies for each clinic. Manage day-to-day operations. Involved in problem solving within each clinic to promote a safe desirable work atmosphere within each clinic.

Community Family Practice, Inc. (2007-2014) Owner. Our patient population includes those patients in North Georgia with limited access to care, Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care and the uninsured population. Operated a family practice clinic providing primary care to infants, children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors (ages 00-99). Our clinic was opened to all patients in need of care. Responsible for operations, employees/staffing, ordering, budget. Grew from 2300 patients to > 7000 from 2007 through 2014.

Georgia Pediatric Cardiology/Children’s Cardiovascular Medicine, PC (2003-2007) Pediatric Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Services Director. Responsible for clinical quality and education of staff. Achieved ICAEL accreditation for the echo department. Performed pediatric echocardiography, stress testing, read Holter Monitor’s, all with the collaboration of the Executive Medical Director. Helped to develop “Be Well 101” for pediatric population, which included education regarding nutrition, exercise, healthy life styles.

Additionally, provided echocardiography staffing (adult, TEE’s and pediatric) to various hospitals and private practice. Provided education for CV lab and Echo lab staff to improve quality.

Cardiac Lab Staff Nurse 2002-2003-contracted through my company to provide nursing support in CV labs. Provided nursing coverage for transesophageal echo’s, provided nursing coverage for stress testing labs (Dobutamine echo and covered as the sonographer at times as well).

Co-Director, CV Technology Program (1996-1997)-Co-director of the UDS cardiovascular imaging program at Ultrasound Diagnostic School in Atlanta, Georgia. Taught echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.

I was also responsible for planning, budgeting for all 5 departments, personnel, strategic planning. Responsible for approximately 40 staff members. I was a member of the Hospital QA committee. Facilitator of the cardiology conference every Friday.
