• Facility maintenance as well as fence and guardrails system wide for Chicago Transit (CTA) I am a very energetic person, whom is very self motivated. I am a fast learner with excellent people skills as well as very strong leadership abilities. Recently I was hired by United Airlines, I passed all background tests, body mobility tests and finger prints. I was ready to start training, but could not take because of a family matter and a 6 week, $11 per hour training session. My goal is to relocate to Florida and out of Illinois. I have a daughter at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, and a son whom wants to go to Central Florida for golf. As a family we have decided a move would be good for us. I am not looking for relocation money, I will take care of myself. I enjoy interacting with the public, and believe every person has the ability to teach you new things. I have been in Facility Maintenance as well as customer service my entire career. I have a personal drive to always better myself, as a boss, an employee as well as a human being. I am a very hard worker, whom believes work should be enjoyable. I think is very important to consider each individual as being important. There are many life lessons that can be learned from listening to others. I am very stern, however I do not believe in yelling. I would expect anyone working with me or under me to be mature enough to realize the task at hand. I believe that great training makes great employees. Teach them, ask them what you just taught them, and ask them to show you. If need be show them again. I also understand that you need to lead by example, therefore I believe it is very important for me to show that I am a very hard worker. Employees only work as hard as their leader. I realize some people have bad days, but it is important to differentiate a bad day from a consistently lazy person. Employees need to give a hard days work for an honest days pay, myself included.
