Description

The project involves developing and enhancing an application for senior enrollment process under predefined plans (MA, MAPD and PDP). It is done in two ways including UI based enrollment or paper based enrollment and electronic enrollment.

It is followed by the Validation of the enrollments made. The stages include pre-enrollment, info crossing and post enrollment. The valid enrollments are sent to the CMS system for approval. The approved enrollments are registered. The jobs involved in the enrollment process are maintained by the Work Load Management (WLM) tool.

The project also includes the SSIS packages - Microsoft SQL Server 2006 Integration Services (SSIS) for building high performance data integration solutions, including the extraction, transformation.

I am able to be part of VB to .net conversion of sub modules in Medisys.The functionality in the migration project contains the setup of letter generation options for the members which was done by a Legacy application developed in Visual Basics 6.0. The migration project involved migration of all the logic from VB to C#.net 3.5

The project includes further enhancement of member enrollments and member maintenance. The enhancement modules will fall in below categories.

Changes in the Database scripts to include the new functionality and the addition of new features to the existing ones.

.net changes to include the derivation of various fields in the system

UI side changes to include the new controls to the screens and changes in the data source controls to the existing screen functionalities.

Creation of Web service components to send the information to other vendor services and process the responses from the services.

Enhancement of existing SSIS package to include the data flow and other filtration components in the SSIS packages

Creation of SSI package to process the Data base operation of bulk data with high performance.
