Project Description :

The project Balancing Incentive Program (BIP) aimed at developing a high level application for the residents of Connecticut, to go through a list of questions and be funded as per their needs towards their health. The person has to go through an assessment after which he would be given the Need Level which was calculated by Corticon Studio, a tool for developing rules and then they were integrated with the application using SOAP web service. Based on the Level of Need, the customer would get a Cost Allocation towards his/her health.

Responsibilities :

Involved in creating TDD design documents, database design documents, and the basic documentation architecture for the Universal Assessment BIP project.

Used IBM Rational Application Developer IDE for the development purpose.

Used Websphere application server 7.0 and IBM DB2 database.

Involved in full time development of the Universal Application using the frontend technologies.

Worked on Creating EJB Beans and using them for calling the necessary methods from the frontend.

Used DAO pattern for persistence.
