§ Respond & treat any injuries/illnesses

§ Perform training with all rig based personnel as well as organizing and leading weekly safety meetings.

§ Responsible for inspection of all lifesaving & emergency equipment onboard the rig

§ Personnel liaison between rig crew and Personnel Department

§ Post accident drug screens

§ Order, stock and issue all PPE, and ensure proper usage of PPE

§ Order, stock, and issue Controlled Drugs & OTC medications, as well as prescription Medication under Company Doctors instruction.

§ Lead & instruct Trauma Team

§ Various other duties as needed/assigned

§ Atmospheric testing of confined space & hot work areas

Nov. 2004 – Mar. 2005 - Paramedic at Cy-Fair Medical Center ER, Houston, Texas. Duties included assisting Emergency Room Doctors and Nurses with patient care and stocking supplies.

2003-2004 – Worked as part time instructor for EMT – Basic, Intermediate and Paramedic courses at Odessa College with clinical Instruction at Odessa Medical Center Hospital as well as part time Emergency Room Paramedic at Alliance Hospital. I also was selected by the Alliance Director of Nursing to teach a 16 Hour ECG Rhythm course which was required for all personnel involved with patient care at the hospital. During the fall of 2004 Alliance Hospital filed for bankruptcy and was taken over by a management firm. I was laid off shortly after.

2001 – 2003 – Continued to work for Superior Ambulance and was promoted to Crew Manager and dispatcher. Responsibilities included answering phones, dispatching Ambulances, interviewing and hiring new personnel, rotational night and weekend dispatching, and filling in as ambulance crew member during high demand times.

1998 – 2001 – Maintained a 12 Hour course schedule at Odessa College while working at Chelsea Street Pub in Odessa, Texas as a Food Server / Bartender. Began working part time at Superior Ambulance as a Paramedic in May of 2000. In 2001 I resigned from Chelsea Street Pub and began working full time at Superior Ambulance.
