Special Health Resources for Texas (2007). Provided medical services with funding from a grant by the University of Texas to incorporate telehealth services for HIV/AIDs patients suffering from co-existing illnesses, opportunistic infections and behavioral health disorders. Collaborated via telehealth with specialists from the University of Texas and Longview Regional Medical Center regarding special needs of this vulnerable population.

Special Health Resources for Texas (2006). Provided medical services under a research grant in an experimental program for treatment of patients affected concurrently with hepatitis C and HIV/AIDs using interferon and ribavirin. Tracked positive hepatitis C tests and referred into treatment program. Monitored relevant lab tests throughout the course of treatment. Tracked data. Results reported to primary investigator.
