Course Work & Academic Projects
Principles Computer Aided Designs (CAD):
Major project involving Design of Components and Assembly of a Single Cylinder Internal Combustion Engine was done using Solid Works 2013.
Implementation of Lean concepts in Micro Fabrication Laboratory:
Analyzed waste involved in the manufacturing of silver ink antennas that are fabricated using screen printing process. Proposed a better process flow for the micro fabrication laboratory that involves optimum time with producing quality devices.
Advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA):
Performed FEA in ANSYS workbench to study the von misses stress distribution and stress concentration factor for various mechanical members which are subjected to either mechanical or thermal loads.
Applied Computational Methods:
Solved the physical problems by converting them to numerical models and solving them using various numerical methods using MATLAB.
Missouri S&T, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Rolla, MO Graduate Student Assistant Jan’ 15 – Dec’ 15
Taught MATLAB for a section of 35 juniors as a part of Modelling & Analysis of Dynamic Systems course from the Mechanical department
Worked as a grader for undergraduate courses for Modelling & Analysis of Dynamic Systems and Statics and Dynamic Systems from mechanical department. Missouri S&T, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Rolla, MO Graduate Research Assistant, Missouri S&T, Rolla Oct’ 14 – Dec’15
As a part of NSF project developed a wearable device for continuous health monitoring.
Hands on experience on various microfabrication processes, welding and mechanical testing on machines like universal testing machine, etc.
Used SOLIDWORKS 2013 to design mechanisms and fixtures with appropriate tolerance that are required for testing or holding the devices for various experiments. Steel Exchange India Ltd, India Visakhapatnam, India On Job Engineer Trainee May’ 12 – Dec’ 12
Worked as a Project Trainee and obtained cognizance on Direct Reduction Plant, Steel Melting Shop and Rolling Mill Departments.
Obtained a good idea on the material handling done in the industry which involves from the iron ore, coal brought into the industry to steel bars sent out of the company. Honors &
Activities
Poster presentation at CBSE Research Symposium 2015 on Multifunctional Wearable Epidermal Device for Physiological Signal Monitoring in Sleep Study. Certifications Programmable Logic Controllers’, Dr. Kelvin Erickson. Designed sequence chart and developed ladder logic for automating a chemical batch manufacturing process. Demonstrated the automated process on a pilot plant for an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC.
