SAP Upgrade Project Coordinator/Team Lead, Costa Mesa, CA June 2007 - February 2008
SAP Upgrade Project Coordinator and acting SAP Basis Team Lead for the “Go-Live” activities for the installation and upgrade of the then current SAP System Landscape. This encompassed leading a team of 10 SAP Basis Consultants. Primary focus was to provide technical leadership, direction and ensure that deliverables and milestones were met. Coordinated and led project team meetings in which tasks were defined, coordinated and assigned accordingly by building strong collaborative relationships with peer team members in India, Brazil and the US.
Provided solutions to the Brazilian based auditor’s findings related to annual SOX audits and worked with management team and cross functional peer team members to ensure SOX compliance for both DB2 UDB and related SAP Production instances according to ITCS104 & GSD331 guidelines.
Created technical project plans and coordinated tasks for the planning, installation and configuration of SAP R/3, BW, SRM, TREX, MDM, ITS, Portal and related components for the Basis team, delivery and other technical teams and worked with management, in a matrixed organization to ensure deliverables and milestones were met, this was completed on time and on budget. Coordinated and lead daily problem and change management to insure issues were processed in a timely manner and completed RCAs when necessary to limit incidents to a “one-time occurrence”.
Worked across functional support areas to ensure not only the upgrade of SAP software was coordinated, but “pre” and “post” activities of the “Go Live” sessions were completed successfully, which guaranteed a smooth transition for the implementations of SRM 5.0 and SRM 7.0.

Responsibilities included the installation of SAP Instances. This was for our “Go-Live” project, Client was “NiSource”. Acted as “Technical Project Manager” on “Post Go-live activities” which consisted of scheduling of OSS “Earlywatch” and “Go-Live” reports and ensuring the “suggested” tasks were documented and completed by Basis Team and Functional Team members.
Installed SAP SRM 4.0, CCM 2.0 and TREX 6.1 as requested to be added to our existing R/3 landscape in order to meet “service level agreements”. This was completed on time and on budget (2006).
Documented and cross trained with other Basis team members on the installation processes and procedures so that additional installations were completed with limited issues.

SAP Basis / SAP Security Administrator, Torrance, CA August 2003 – July 2005
Responsibilities consisted of both SAP basis and SAP security related tasks associated with the SAP system landscape; SAP R/3, B/W (AS400) and APO (NT) Production, Test and Development Instances for the client “Kubota Tractor”.
Installed and administered software, including; systems and support pack upgrades and Live Cache DB upgrades (APO) to address service level agreements.
Designed, developed, tested and implemented SAP security roles, profiles and authorizations using profile generator, PFCG, SU01 and SU25 to insure user security associated with GSD331, were addressed.
Operations Team Lead, Milpitas, CA July 2002 – August 2003
Managing Team Lead over operations staff (help desk and technical support) for client “Solectron”, consisting of roughly 10 technical staff, this included Tivoli job scheduling in a “BAAN V” environment.
