Personal Profile:

-I am 21 years of age. I graduated from Foothills Composite High School in the class of 2012. I am an extreme advocate of staying fit, and I have grown accustomed to staying on my feet on a constant basis. I have lots of experience in the customer service industry, as well as becoming quite skilled on Forklifts and Table saws, but I am more than willing to acquire new skills, and improve on them as much as possible. I am a responsible, hard-working individual and I take pride in all that I do. I give my absolute best in any given task. I follow instruction well, but I can make wise decisions on my own. Working well with others is a strong point for me; however I can also work well alone, in an efficient manner.

Skills and Experience:

-Working at Windsor Plywood, and being a key holder for 3 years, I have acquired many different skills. Especially when it comes to operating the forklifts in the yard and in the store. Whether it is keeping up the stock of the plywood bins, picking orders for customers, or setting up deliveries, I was very keen on making sure the job got done in a safe and efficient manner. Also, I have improved ecstatically on my customer service skills, as I was constantly dealing with customers of all sorts, and seeing that they were satisfied to the highest degree. Whether it be special ordering of product, or simply helping them load up material, I ensured that their experience with us was positive. Lastly, as we were selling plywood, I became very skilled on the table saws and miter saws. I would have to complete numerous and precise cutting orders throughout the day, and I could do so as effectively and safely as possible.

-I have been a member of the Okotoks Referees Association as a referee for 7 years. In my time there, I have developed great leadership skills, responsibility, and, most importantly, patience. I have learned the importance of commitment and respect for my job, as well as my peers. This, in turn, reflects my composure on and off the ice. After being elected to the Executive Board, I took on a whole new role in the association, having more responsibilities fall upon my shoulders. Working with others and making important decisions became a strong point for me.

-Working in the Proshop and over-seeing the duties of the backshop employees at the Wintergreen Golf & Country Club has helped me become stronger in the leadership aspect of things, and has taught me how to responsibly take charge in certain situations. I believe leadership is a fairly strong point for myself, as all jobs that needed to get done under my watch, did so, in a quick manner. Once again, this profession is front line customer service, so I was able to improve my customer service skills even more so.

-Being in the Backshop at D’Arcy Ranch Golf Club has not only taught me responsibility, but also how to stay calm with unruly customers. I have learned how to keep my composure in sticky situations, and how to handle each situation in an appropriate manner. I have also realized the importance of looking the part when arriving to the workplace, wearing only the appropriate golf attire.

-Working at the Red Deer Lake Community Association, I have grown accustomed to working longer hours and not quitting until the task at hand is complete. Also, I was used to working with all kinds of equipment.
