I am a safety-driven Drilling Supervisor with over 29 years experience in the Oilfield, the last two years as a Drilling Consultant, preceded by ten years as a Rig Manager, eight years as Driller and 9 years on Floors, Motors & Derricks. I have extensive experience with many wells including horizontal wells, build & hold wells, S-wells, multilateral wells and re-entry wells. I am experienced with both WBM & OBM systems. I strive to be a great leader and a respected representative of the company, with my main focus on safety, cost control, minimal downtime and good logistics during rig moves.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Consultant, CorJay Consulting Services (Chesapeake Energy) – The Eagle Ford Shale, S. TX 3/13 – 03/15

I oversaw the control and direction of wells without supervision for projects with Chesapeake Energy; I drilled horizontal wells with extended horizontal sections. I have drilled oil depths from 5000’ to 24,000’ with an average of 20,000’; I have a vast knowledge of air drilling, WBM, OBM, and underbalanced mud. I am confident in troubleshooting loss circulation and downhole issues. I provided supervision, leadership and mentoring to my crews. I managed all facets of drilling and service rigs in numerous locations as per well programs, for example: The Eagle Ford Shale in S. Texas; The Wood Ford Shale in E, W & S Central Okla; The Barnett Shale in N. Texas and The Mississippi Lime in N. Okla and S. Kansas. I am diligent and detailed in my daily reports, and I am familiar with many specialized rig software programs, including: WellView, Rim Base, TOTCO, Pason, Rig Watch, OpenWells & Rock It.

Supervised and coordinated drilling activities on Keen Rig #20; Along with my crew we scored a 97.5% in the Nabors “Battle E Program” (which can be extremely difficult to achieve); I also set two state record “Bit Runs” with Baker Hughes while with Keen & previously as Rig Manager at Nabors Industries; I always maintained a clean rig-site with safety as my top priority, followed by a strong focus on cost control & maintaining a minimal downtime.
