Duration of the project is one month (01 Feb 2015 to 28 Feb 2015).

Description:

Switch gear is used to interrupt or re-establish the flow of electricity in a circuit. It is generally used in combination with metering, protective and regulating equipment to protect and control motors, generators, transformers and transmission and distribution lines. Assigned role is to analysis their operation and to take survey and work on it.

This project is an academic project during the year 2015 for the degree, bachelor of electrical and electronics engineering.

Description:

A Power quality problem is an occurrence indicates as a nonstandard voltage, current or frequency that results in a failure or a disoperation of end use equipment’s.

Utility distribution networks, industrial loads and critical commercial operations suffer from various types of outages and service interruptions which can cost significant financial loss.

Our proposed method is to identify the prominent concerns in this area and hence the measures that can enhance the quality of the power are suggested.
