I started out as a stock clerk, and then held increasing levels of responsibilities which included head stock clerk, assistant manager, then manager.

I was in charge of a store with 20 or more employees and annual sales of over $2,000,000.

I was responsible for scheduling, daily bookkeeping, setting and following yearly and weekly budgets, and inventory control

I was terminated in 1994. I sought and won unemployment benefits. Big Lots appealed this and took my case as far as they could on appeals, with me winning all 3 appeals.

Department Scheduler/Planner

Currently I am the Planner/Scheduler for the Adhesive Making lines, the Power Crete machines and the Aztec Department

I have held various jobs of increasing responsibilities during my tenure at the Franklin facility. I have been a compounder, storekeeper, slitter operator and team leader.

In 2003 I went from an hourly employee to a non exempt salary employee when I became a shift supervisor. Shortly after that, I moved into my current job as a Planner/Scheduler.

I am a certified ISO auditor.

Graduated in 1980 from Tullahoma High School in Tullahoma, Tn.

Attended Motlow State Community College from 1982 to 1986

Interests

Fishing, grilling and my grand children.
