CHALET RV 2012-2015

Owner /President

Chalet RV is a recreational vehicle manufacturer with two factories located in the Northwest ar- ea employing over 70 people. Chalet RV ships products across the US, Canada, Korea and other international locations.

• Identified location, negotiated lease, tax breaks and incentives and started up the second factory and expanded production accordingly.

• Oversaw the development of a new corporate web site, development of new marketing materials, implementation of sales incentives, expansion of shipping and more.

• Expanded and trained sales force. Raised sales dramatically resulting in a production or- der backlog from less than a half of a month to over 6 months production thus necessitat- ing the second factory.

Founded and developed the business which was investing media, marketing and advertising capital into deserving companies. The investment sizes ranged from $250,000 to $5,000,000. Global Media Fund was the largest investment firm of its type in the world. Global Media Fund invested over $300,000,000 in companies.

Alstom is a very large company that had never utilized a coherent scheduling approach and that builds the majority of the world’s locomotives and train cars. Eve- ry group such as Engineering, Production, Materials, etc had used a separate tracking mechanism and these mechanisms did not feed into each other, creating materials, design and production de- lays and other issues. VP of Business Development

Startup company that is a subsidiary of a large international company.

• Helped architect and develop an enterprise software online system from scratch, using SDLC in concert with IBM, for delivering online tutoring services. The product consisted of an online learning environment with blackboards, video, text, chat, document ex- change and more. It incorporated such features as skills routing, call center, CRM inte- gration, customer support, integrated billings, online payments, payments by mail and more.

• Sales to organizations such as Allstate, AFL/CIO for use of the system as a benefit to their employees and family members (initial budget allotment by Allstate was $500,000).

PUBLIC UTILITY CONSULTING EXPERIENCE 1986 – 1994

Consultant

• Philadelphia Electric Company - Contracted to analyze past areas of operational and management deficiencies, and to determine effectiveness of corrective actions. Also identified areas of company operation that needed additional attention. Set up a program to automate the reporting of past problems and to automatically identify areas of concern.

• Tennessee Valley Authority - Directed the development of a corporate computer system to be used as the record management program for the Tennessee Valley authority nuclear division (nine plants). The program had been under development for over two years and two million dollars without any demonstrable results. The program was redesigned and completed in three months. Analyzed restart plans at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant for ef- ficiency and feasibility. Identified and implemented savings of approximately seventy million dollars from the multi-year restart plan.

• Long Island Lighting Company – Numerous duties:

o Evaluated and qualified corporate and consulting instructors. o Redesigned and implemented the licensed and non-licensed nuclear operator training programs.

o Designed, developed and taught numerous training and educational courses. o Evaluated industry events and plant operations to identify potential or existing management problems. Designed, developed and taught training to management personnel to prevent or alleviate any discovered deficiencies. o Contracted to monitor and resolve all areas of nuclear plant operations and maintenance to ensure compliance with federal, state, local and utility require- ments. This was a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) specified position o Conducted annual efficiency and plant readiness audits. Redesigned and rewrote the plant operating, maintenance and administrative procedures to increase ease of understanding and accuracy.

o Gave written, oral, and performance exams to Nuclear Regulatory Commission

(NRC) license candidates to determine management and technical ability.

• Illinois Power - Performed Quality Assurance inspections to ensure that the plant was built and operated in accordance with all federal, state and local requirements. GEORGIA POWER 1983 - 1985

Nuclear Regulatory Commission licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO).

• Responsible for all aspects of the nuclear plant operation and maintenance, and served as the management member responsible for refueling the nuclear reactor core. Was the only former Navy enlisted person (all others were former Navy Of- ficers) to ever be directly hired by Southern Company (parent company of Geor- gia Power) for this position.

U. S. NAVY 1975 – 1983

Nuclear Power Operator on Submarine

• Was responsible for the training and qualification of hundreds of trainees, as well as scheduling and ensuring that correct maintenance was performed at the Navy’s nuclear training facility.

• Completed college in three years while working a mandatory fifty to sixty hours per week shift work schedule.

• Operated and maintained a nuclear reactor on a submarine. Also responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems as well as training junior technicians.
