Job Description

Construction works like Installing cable tray, supports of instruments, panels junction boxes, cable pulling of analog and digital signals, Glanding and termination of cable in panel or junction boxes, line checking all instruments field to junction box and to control room mcc or ups room, separate signal cable to power cable. Installing also different kind of transmitter like flow, pressure, temperature, level and different kind of sensors if needed and according to their manuals and instruction procedure. Also perform tubing of instruments to the process and perform leak test and all tubing. Installation of new control circuits, modification of existing instrument/electrical systems as requested, to include design, load and Implementation of new control logic.

Maintaining also the instruments in the field repair of signal transmission facility such as tubing, wiring, etc. Instrumentation to include pneumatic, electronic and digital equipment

Perform also shutdown works and follow procedures indicated dismantling old ones and replace a new system like field bus

Perform pre commissioning and commissioning works like loop checking of all instruments in the field from sensors to transmitter to junction box to control room and to the final element such as alarm or control valves check their signals accuracy and calibrate if needed. Also in motor controls like contactors relays or any digital signals going to control room

Assisted senior engineers in site and perform a simulation of instruments and take their data and compare and perform calibrate if needed. Keep supervisor informed of progress, problems and concerns related to the observatory, provide status reports as required and accept priorities as assigned.

Can interpret logic and ladder diagram in plc and diagram in instruments like P& ID and ILD electronics and electrical circuit.
