Project#1: Worldwide Purchase Price Variance Tool Development

Title : Worldwide Purchase Price Variance Tool Development

Client : Apple Inc.

Duration : February 2012 – Till date

Role : Project Lead

Environment/Tools/Software: Oracle 11g, Oracle Integrational Operational Planning (IOP), UNIX

The goal of the project is to develop an automated analytics solution along with reporting capabilities for the buy sell finance quarter close and forecast processes. The solution is built on Oracle Integrational Operational Planning (IOP) an oracle proprietary tool with Oracle database forming the staging layer. The tool is tightly integrated with all dependent and outbound systems like SAP, eCOST, Essbase and Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Leading the project from client location and responsible for overall delivery

Working with business team and other stake holders (SAP, Data Warehouse etc.) for requirements gathering, feasibility study, high-level solution design and POC development.

Responsible for technical aspects of the project like architecture design, interface design and development for data integration and data transformations

Co-ordinate with project team and end users to chart out the project plan and testing strategy

Closely work with end users to understand the problem statement for ongoing issues and come up with a mitigation plan

Responsible for onsite offshore co-ordination and status reporting to higher management.

Project#2: EBS to Fusion Migration Tools Development

This project is involved in development of tools for data migration from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Fusion Applications. This is a unified solution offered by Oracle for migrating the set-ups and transactions from EBS to Fusion without the need to redo. Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is used for creating the migration interfaces. The application will be managed and launched by Functional Set-up manager (FSM) in Fusion.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Worked in the role of a Techno Functional consultant and point of contact (POC) for functional issues for Benefits module.

Data Model analysis, Gap analysis, identifying the table/column mapping from EBS to Fusion and preparation of detailed design for each of the LBOs (Logical Business Objects)

Develop ODI interfaces and validation reports in PL/SQL

Identify and document the pre and post migration tasks.

Project#3: Oracle HRMS Implementation for Dubai Islamic Bank

Title : Oracle HRMS Implementation – Phase II

Client : Dubai Islamic Bank, U.A.E

Duration : November 2009 – February 2010

Role : Module Lead - iRecruitment

Dubai Islamic Bank based in Dubai, U.A.E., is one of the leading financial institutions in the Middle East region. The project was involved in implementation of iRecruitment, Oracle Learning Management (OLM), Work Force Performance Management and Self Services HR (SSHR) modules.

Worked as module lead for iRecruitment.

Fidelity Employer Services Company (FESCo), the HR & Benefits outsourcing arm of Fidelity Investments, the world’s leading providers of financial services. FESCO is the third party administrator for HR Payroll and Benefits and has around 42 end clients. The project would implement the changes or enhancements brought as part of Corporate Actions by end clients of FESCo. This team analyzes the existing system and changes needed in line with the enhancements required by the end clients without impacting the other functionalities.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Worked in the role of Module lead for a team of five resources.

Handled the responsibilities of Project Analyst cum Configuration analyst.

Involved in preparing the specification requirements analysis document for the proposed enhancements and estimating the effort required.

Involved in tracking, monitoring and planning the work in the team.

Also took up the additional responsibilities like training and mentoring the new project members of account and Defect Prevention Anchor of the project.

Project#5: Pfizer HRMS Implementation

Pfizer was a new client to the Fidelity which is engaged in HR-Payroll and Benefits Administration. This project is to implement the Core HR, Payroll and Advanced Benefits for Pfizer. It also involved the conversion of people data from legacy system to HRMS.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Worked as team member and involved in preparing the functional set-up documents, design specification for Fast Formulas and configuration.

In depth analysis and set-up of work structures, payroll accruals, costing, benefit rates and premiums and system extracts.

Involved in developing the Fast Formulas and PL/SQL functions.

Involved in unit testing and system integration testing.

Took the additional responsibilities as Mentor for new team members and Configuration Controller of the project.

Project#6: .HRMS Implementation for Dunkin Brands

Dunkin' Brands is the home company for Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins. Dunkin' Donut is the largest chain of coffee and baked goods chain in the world whereas Baskin-Robbins is one of the leading ice-cream brands in world. The project involves implementation of Core-HR, Payroll, Advanced Benefits, OLM, iRecruitment and Self Services HR (SSHR) modules. The project has involved a lot of personalization and customizations in above modules.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Worked as team member and part of functional team for Core HR, Payroll, Advanced Benefits (OAB) and iRecruitment modules.

Involved in requirements analysis, functional set-ups, system test planning and system integration testing.

Documented the system test results using Quality Centre (Test Director) tool.

Involved in User Acceptance testing on behalf of client and worked on user manuals for client.

Project#7: Bank of America- MBNA Merger and Annual Enrollment Implementation

This project was to bring the legacy MBNA employees into Bank of America system in the context of merging the MBNA Bank with Bank of America. Many new Divisions, Benefits Groups and new Payrolls were created as part of this project. This project also involved the Benefits Annual Enrollment Implementation for Bank of America. This Annual Enrollment enables the Bank employees to review their enrollments at end of plan year and make changes to their Benefits at the end of the year.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Worked as a team member and handled the Life Events, Rates and Eligibility modules.

In-depth Analysis of system requirements and thorough understanding of the existing system to analyze the impact.

Creation of new divisions, new flex fields, Quick Codes (Look ups) and LOVs.

Preparing the Design Changes Document, preparation of specs for new rules (Fast Formulas) or existing rule changes.

Preparing the Unit Test plan and executing the same.

Also took up the additional responsibility as Back up CC (Configuration Controller) for the project.

Project#8: Ongoing HOBS Production Support

Fidelity Employer Services Company (FESCo), the HR & Benefits outsourcing arm of Fidelity Investments, the world’s leading providers of financial services. HOBS is the Health and Other Benefits System built on Oracle Advanced Benefits to administer the Health and Welfare benefits. This is a multi-client project which would take care of analyzing the production bugs and finding a fix for the same. In addition to this, it also involves configuring the fix in maintenance, testing and Pre-Production instances and validating the same.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Worked as a team member and supported the clients Eaton and Merck.

Analyzing the issues (bugs) reported via the Pro-Support tool and preparation of specification requirements analysis (SRA) document for the bug.

Fixing the bug and analyzing the impact, configuring, testing and documenting the same.

Attending the production fire calls.
