UNARCO offers pallet rack, warehouse storage and engineered storage systems.

After having worked for Allied Metal Products & Engineering for nearly 20 years I purchased the business from the third generation owner and operated this custom steel fabrication facility. Sold the company in 2004.

Key Initiatives Included: Increased Sales and Profitability over previous years after purchasing the business just after 9/11 and facing a major challenge maintaining revenue due to the shrinking economy. This was achieved by negotiating and entering into exclusivity agreements with the majority our Top 10 customers, which included guaranteed on-time delivery, one year price guarantees and a customer rewards program for regular customers.

Managed day-to-day operations including scheduling, quality, safety, transportation, OSHA, logistics, maintenance, customer service, purchasing, lease agreements, cost controls, training and strategic planning.

Accountable for Profit and Loss Statements, Budgets, and In-house audits.

Designed innovative processes to safely finish products to specifications within tight timeframes and in compliance with quality and production standards.

Developed testing procedures to verify functionality of mechanical products, and set-up systems for work control to assure standards of quality and performance were met.
