Take in prescriptions and input them into Smartsheet. Contact the patient, verify demographics and insurance information. Contact insurance if need to verify further information or reference Emdeon insurance eligibility site. Once all the information has been verified, then set the prescription as to do in Compounder 4 through P.K software. A non- sterile environment is worked in and dress as according to protocol when entering the lab. Working under a hood with a calibrated balance ( Ohaus Balance) as to achieve the correct measurements needed for the compound being made. Also knowledge with Unguator or E.M.P., Dermamill and Pro Filler manual capsule making machine. Also help when needed in the retail pharmacy. Process prescriptions by either hard copy or by escript. Count, fill and point of sale. Use Key Centrix and RX Key. Also help with incoming orders, inventory and documenting any invoices prior to filing. Also knowledge with packaging and shipping of medications through Fed-Ex.
