Working in as an Operations Support Supervisor role in coordinating multiple projects with a total contract amount of $160 million consisting of multiple projects.

Team lead for the Overhead Deteriorated Pole Program consisting of 8000+ distribution poles and 1000+ transmission poles in 7 year period. Projects included replacing capacitor banks on poles, installing IMS (cell sites) and replacing switches with a contract amount of $150 million.

Team lead the Underground electrical work for SCE in commodities such as Cable and Switch Replacement, Vault Replacement, Rule 20’s and Relocations and consisting over 200 miles of cable installation and replacing deteriorated vaults (200) with a contract amount of $100 million.

Team lead for a new project management methodology for job planning process, which is currently being implemented.

Acquiring the work order packages from SCE and working on unit tasking the each project.

Scheduling the work order packages on weekly basis to meet the completion deadline. Prepare Field Change Orders (FCO) for any work outside the scope. Initial sequencing of construction activities including scheduling work 6 weeks out.

Daily personal interactions with client (SCE), sub-contractors, city inspectors, and authorities having jurisdiction on the project.

Checking for Permits and Purchase Orders before commencing work on each work order. Conduct weekly meeting with job planning team consisting of General Foremen, Construction Coordinators, and Permit Coordinators in scheduling work every week to meet the deadline.

Perform and validate unit price tasking for each project as per the SCE contract guidelines.

Evaluating project budget and establishing changes as needed to maximize crew efficiency.

Perform random field inspections to assess quality and safe working practices of the crews.

Provide reporting to management and client (SCE0 regarding budgets, schedules, and recourse impacts that affect the overall execution of assigned projects. Turn in completed work packages twice a week for payment. Attend weekly SCE meeting to report the progress of work on weekly and monthly basis.

Experience using California Public Utilities Commission standards or construction/maintenance standards (i.e., GO95 and GO128) to ensure constructability and safety standards are met.

Develop deliverables and associated timelines, assign and track action items. Analyzing problems and developing and implementing plans with limited information and under tight time constraints and ensure proper allocation of resources and construction site readiness.

Coordinating material and equipment staging and/or delivery to meet project schedule dates.

Overlooking and coordinating customer outages and equipment needs for each project. Schedule work along with outage notifications, tree trimming, concrete repairs and crane sets with FAA.

Liaise with SCE, residential & commercial customers on regular basis. Coordinate field activities with weekly field visits and monitoring safety standards of the company.

Work directly with different city inspectors and engineers on the pole replacements and obtaining permits for each work directly from the city. Close out permits after concrete repairs are done.

Observe, monitor and document the work of the crews according to SCE standards, this includes management of all project correspondence (incoming and outgoing), including but not limited to oral and written communications, Field Change Orders (FCO), work order package close out and progress payments.

Submit billing in the SCE Supplier Portal. Manage projects using Primavera to schedule & keep track of work progress.
