I was responsible for marketing content for the iTunes Music Store; play lists, genre pages, and promotions. Designed the content management tools and site functions. I scheduled exclusives, features and promotions. Managed the publication of weekly refresh of music site and coordinated with labels for placement in the store for new album and single releases. Was a part of the creative team and created original music content. Music director for all genre pages, campaigns, playlists, and promotions.
iTunes Senior Producer - February 2002- January 2004
I was a senior producer for the iTunes Music Store at Apple Computer. I was on producing side of the design team and content technology group. I was also in charge of analyzing and categorizing all the data of the five major music labels and over 200 hundred indie labels for distribution through one source. I created a data technical support team and a categorization department for the classifying and posting of music for the entire store. I helped set the standard for the design of the asset management tool and I supported creation for design for the automated workflow. Created groundwork for ingestion of classical music trained staff to correct and process titles.
Digital Marketing Manager - April 2001 – January 2002
I created the digital asset management solution between multiple departments within Apple Computer. The system united digital assets and information in an exchange between PR, Marketing, Advertising vendors and Graphic Design. Created online catalog of all Apple marketing assets. Procured all photography and original art for Apple Graphic Design Studio. Managed content rights for Apple Computer retail and ad agencies. Stock media research, purchasing and content distribution. I was responsible for confidential and digital security, presentations and executive support.
