Detailed Layout Inspection

●Inspection of casting and forgings, sheet metal, plastics, complex spars and chords, ribs, airfoils, vanes, bulkhead, housing, piston's, stator assemblies, actuators, manifolds, Gage, compressors. Used Digital Product Definition/Model Based Definition, (BOEING) (with PC DMIS SOFTWARE ON CMM, IMPORTED MODELS, INSPECTED PART TO MODEL, WITH PROFILE CALLOUTS (GDT). MANUAL & DCC CONTROL ON CMM,

●Gears and Splines Inspection

●Checked pitch diameter, and gear geometry, before and after grinding and plating, runout, concentricity, used surface plate layout, Plating Inspection, Roundness (Tallyround)

●True Position - GDT and other geometrical form features. Military spec's. ANSI Y14.5

●Electrical Inspector - Components, wiring, harnesses.

●CNC Lathe, CNC Milling Inspection

●Receiving, first piece, in-process, final used Mititoyo & Starrett graphing of SPC data collectors, and microprocessors.

●Wire and Spring Inspection (force, rate, elongation, free length, etc.)

●Used Johnson thread gage and tri-rolls for thread inspection, super mic, laser mic, optical comparator.

●Federal form scan - Roundness, Straightness. Verified certification of materials and hardness testing, MPI, and FPI, Eddy Current. RAM Optical, Micro-Vu, PC-DMIS.

●C.M.M. Airfoil Inspection, Gage Calibration. Sine Plate and Compound Sine Plate, Welding Inspection.

Layout Inspection & Skills

●Surface plate & C.M.M. inspection utilizing mill specs (105a, 985a, 454, 45208, 45662, etc.) Ansi Y14.5 specs-government and commercial, nondestructive testing inspection, verified contractual compliance to F.A..A. & F.A.R. regulations, acted as liaison to DCAS (Government reps & insp.) Responsible for Q.C. manual creation and update rev changes. Operated C.M.M. to different software, exposure and worked with PC Dmis, QC 5000(expert), Direct Inspect, NT Windows Tutor, and others. Soldering skills, oscilloscope, programmed, edited, analyzed, SPC data off the manufacturing floor and suggested corrective action if required, calibrated all tools, used computerized thread analyzer, LRC, rotary table, form tracer, gage R & R, verified check fixtures, Profile gages. Computer Skills in Word, Excel, Calibration of hand tools.
