August 2014 - Present Core Television News (Vision Mixer)

Responsibilities:

As a vision mixer, I direct live and recorded TV programs using the Tricaster 4100

I made sure that there is smooth flow of communication between the studio crew and the Master Control Room (MCR) crew.

Ensure good pictures sound quality

Import of scroll messages from different sources into video mixers.

Effective management of time breaks during transmission.

Keep abreast of the change in technology.

Ensure there is no technical hitch.

Ensure that audio cables in the studio are tested and confirmed functional prior to any live programs.

Report promptly of any malfunctioning equipment in control room.

Ensure that the advert promos are played back at a scheduled time.
