Currently working as Sr. Project Manager conversion of vessels New construction of ship building & Ship Repair from Sep 2002 to till date

Providing overall leadership for the project while maintaining a focus on achieving results efficiently and safely

Client liaison including the development and presentation of project plans, progress reports and acceptance by the client of the final product

2.90 meters, Cement plant handler vessels Ambuja Cement Group under IRS class inspection

3.38.5 meters; AHT for Essar Logistics Ltd under the inspection of IRS Class

4.70.5 meters; Dum barges for ARKEY Logistic Essar Shipping Group (5 Nos) IRS Class

(Under a remarkable time frame of 6 months)

5.105 meters Bulk carrier Vessel for Finland clients ALPILLA under inspection of LR Class. Ice class vessel.

6.Conversion vessel for M/S Halul Offshores Ltd. 79 Mts vessel converted to 98 Mts converted an AHTS Vessel to Diving Vessel under inspection of IR Class with all required modifications.

Sr.Manager (HOD) Painting

Working as Sr. Manager HOD Painting with ABG Shipyard Ltd (Surat) since Sep 2003 to Aug 2013

Heading the Painting Department with more than 13 Engineers

Responsible for Painting Standards for all kind of vessels including PSPC Compliance

Responsible for the guarantee of paints with Clients, Classification Society and Vendors

Responsible for the Non Compliance Reports to be sorted and closed as per requirement of Clients and Classification Society also Paint Manufacturers

Inspection for Steel Preparation Welding Joints and Salts before blasting and painting

Inspections with proper coating intervals and maintaining proper humidity factors as required before application of paints.

Documentation for PSPC with all reports and copies to Clients Paint Manufacturers and Classification society with approved copies handing over before Delivery of Vessel.

Proper knowledge of SA 2.5/ SA3 / PT3/ PT2 with DFTs as required and mentioned by the Paint manufacturer and Clients

Sr. Manager Dock Operations. (ABG Shipyard Ltd)

Started Carrier with ABG Shipyard Ltd as Asst. Manager Dock Operations from 1998 till date. handling the dock operations like docking undocking of vessels and mooring operations Vessel movement s along with Shiplift operations .

Launching of Vessels from graving dock,Ship lift systems and Slipway handled independently.

Movement of vessels in sea and shifting of vessels from building berth to berth for launching or for equipment fittings; unit fittings; thruster fitments etc .

Dock preparation for docking undocking of vessels handled independently

All vessel movements on jetties and all vessels which are on sea trials mooring operations taken care .

Ship lift system lowering of vessels lifting of vessels and maintenance of shiplift systems including hydraulics system maintenance handled independently.

Dock and jetty maintenance handled independently.

More than 90 vessels launched under my supervision and inspection from shiplift system.

More than 10 vessels launched through slipway launching under my supervision and guidance.

Approx more than 130 vessels undocked including repair ships.

Dock outside and jetties dredging works also carried out under my supervision and guidance

Installation of all kinds of cranes; Davits ;Capstans; Mooring winches; Bollard fitments on vessels carried out under supervision and guidance

Working as Manager Ship Repairs for ABG Shipyard Ltd., Surat from Dec 2005 to Jun 2007 (continue till date as clients are aware and conversed with the performance in ship Repairs).

Inspection of scope of works as mentioned assessing the scope of works and scheduling time frame for the same.

Co-coordinating with Owner Representatives and Classification Society for inspections and approvals

Assigning the proper scope of work with proper departments and keeping track records for the completion of the works on scheduled time.

Managing internal completion of works for all departments with a track of materials required and used for completion of works with proper safety precautions and standard levels.

Liaise between Owners and Classification Society regarding all Repair related details of vessel.
