As a DBA :

Maintaining of standalone and cluster servers.

SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 installations, configuration and security settings for stand-alone servers.

Configuring / maintaining high availability SQL Server solutions that include Log shipping, Mirroring, Replication and clustering.

Knowledge on Replication concepts Snapshot, Transactional and Peer to Peer.

Continuously monitoring and updating the Backup & Recovery strategy and also monitoring scheduled jobs of backup and restore procedure for database
