As an Assistant Manager, I led a team of dedicated individuals through the daily operations of a retail store with over
$2.5m in annual sales. In addition to leading the sales team to record annual sales, I was responsible for opening and
closing the store and ensuring the safety and productivity of each employee. Along with providing industry leading
customer service, I was responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the store by tracking six daily goals for
sales, repairs of jewelry, credit applications, protection payment plans, lifetime warranties, and add-ons (at least two items
per sale). In addition to managing the six daily goals, I was also responsible for training new employees, checking in new
merchandise and repaired jewelry claims, ordering supplies, and maintaining signage. At the end of each day, I ensured
each register was balanced, the deposit was correct and all jewelry was accounted for, stored properly and locked in the
safe.

As an Assistant Manager, I excelled in managing the sales floor and pharmacy employees to deliver world class customer
service while focusing on maximizing sales for the store. In this position, I was responsible for merchandising product to
maximize sales, handling customer questions or complaints while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Twice
weekly, I, along with other store management, delegated the placement of product in each department and unloaded the
merchandise delivered to the store. My duties also included weekly scheduling and processing payroll for the store
employees, vendor bookkeeping, loss and prevention claims and cash office activities while maintaining a friendly,
professional store. I was also responsible for training new employees on the sales floor which included cash register

profiles, communicated with insurance companies for eligibility and handled all customer service issues. I was also
responsible for opening and closing the store and ensuring that all cash registers (seven) balanced with the store totals and
deposits were correct.
