QUALITY/PROCESS ENGINEERING

Deploy, execute and monitor Systems & Software Quality Assurance programs for major developmental programs.

Prepare and develop the Systems Engineering Management Plan for a Technical Development (TD) proposal. Results rated Excellent (Blue) by customer.

Perform Systems and Software Process Audits and assessments of program quality, program performance and site procedures, assisting in implementation of recommended changes.

Evaluate software development and supported risks in accordance with contract requirements to ensure overall customer satisfaction and system performance.

Provide oversight to Software suppliers, ensuring compliance to contractual requirements performing SQA supplier audits, documentation reviews, Formal Qualification Testing (FQT) and System Integration testing.

Develop Software Development Plans (SDP) and Software Quality Assurance Plans (SQAP) for major programs.

Perform internal documentation reviews assuring traceability of requirements and conformance to contractual requirements utilizing DOORS, Rational Rose Suite (ClearCase, ClearQuest), Teamwork and Cradle.

Perform requirement & design reviews, code & unit test inspections, formal qualification & regression tests, requirement creation, decomposition & traceability and software verification to ensure a robust product.

Responsible for ensuring the software is tested and defect-free by being involved in the development process through each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Designed, developed and created checklists, test cases, and test scripts.

Coordinate client software (OneSource) and system testing and integration: developed test procedures and test documentation.

Represent the SSQA organization as a member for systems and software change management activities, review boards and the verification of change requests.

Participate in the CMMI Assessment Level 5 efforts: Measurement and Analysis (M&A) working groups and Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) leading to achievement of CMMI Level 5.

Steer the Causal Analysis & Preventive action efforts for hardware and software problems.

Full knowledge and compliance of DOD/MIL Standards, QMS and CMMI process improvement, ISO 9001, AS9100, MIL-STD-1553 and IEEE and ASQ standards.
