Integral leader in the organization of the characterization lab and plant-wide testing processes.

Responsible for testing and analyzing the results for all raw materials. Including elemental analysis through the AXIOS XRF (x-ray fluorescence) spectrometer and XRD for phase identification, determination of excess cobalt using Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and surface area and porosity measurements using Micromeritics Tristar II.

Oversaw tape characterization and tensile testing using Instron.

Analyze material defects and ensure final product quality using Keyence microscope.

Wrote and organized the Job Safety Analysis for all laboratory instruments for lab members to follow.
