Responsibilities:

Provided the best care and charting practices possible that were required by the state of Michigan. Helping the Residents with everyday living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, ect. I paid great attention to every detail about the residents, so if anything changes from skin care to behavior changes I can report the change to the nurse, as well as provide proper documentation. I was responsible for properly taking vital signs and documenting them so that the resident would have an accurate record of health and any alarming differences would be reported to charge nurse and then escalated if need be. This practice ensured that the resident got a quick response to any medical issues that might be present. I also helped to make sure each day in the facility is as pleasant as possible for the residents, even if they were not under my direct care because each one of the residents are top priority.

The GoBus, Communications and External Relations

Responsibilities:

Gobus– On a daily basis I was to schedule bus rides for the elderly and disabled and also to handle the complaints that they had about the system or feedback on their experiences.

Communications and External Relations- My job was to help customers learn how to utilize our system. I would answer the phones and handle the complaints from the customers about our system. Handle the inventory purchasing the items we would need each day to provide excellent customer service. Document everything in great detail.

My starting pay was $12.67 and I received raises to $15.00an hour. Within one year of working for this company I was promoted to full time and moved to a different department with added responsibilities.
