Detailed Work Experience:

05/2007 – present. Independent Consultant.

07/2004- 05/2007. Kaiser Permanente Capital Projects, Senior MEP Project Manager, Antioch Medical center.

Kaiser-Permanente Senior Project Manager for construction of Central Utility Plant (generators, boilers, chillers, etc), MEP management of Hospital and MOB, and On-site and Off-site (adjacent City streets) projects that included utilities, landscaping and hardscaping construction. Duties also include providing directions to Architects and Consultants. Overseeing performance of General Contractor relative to their adherence to schedule and budget.

Originated use of environmentally friendly materials for underground construction.

Lead Kaiser’s selection process for Kaiser-Permanente Commissioning Agent. After selection of Commissioning Agent was responsible for the coordination of Commissioning process for equipment and systems for the entire Antioch Medical Center Project.

Accomplished numerous cost and time saving initiatives, both in the design documentation changes and in the construction activities of General Contractor (detailed list upon request).

Was acknowledged by Kaiser’s NFS Leadership for savings at the Antioch Medical Center Central Utility Plant.

11/2000-4/2003. Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Coordinator, Hunt Construction Group, SF, CA

Coordinated various electrical, mechanical, Life Safety, Building Automation System, Audio-Visual Systems subcontractors at new Moscone-West convention facility. Job entailed guidance to and coordination of activities of various subcontractors; submittal review and coordination; shop/layout drawings review and coordination; Requests For Information initiation and processing; Change Orders implementation and processing; subcontractors progress billing review; scheduling; liaison with Consultants and the Client (CCSF), and such.

Directed three Project Managers, one Production Manager, two Estimators,

Purchasing Agent, Engineer and about fifty other workers on fourteen various projects.
