ROLE & RESPONSIBLITES

Well familiar with international codes, inspection and testing requirement for pre- welding, in processes welding and post welding activities.

Carry out the inspections as per approved ITP liaise with the client and sub-contractor for all related Quality and inspections.

Review company specifications, drawings, method statements, QC procedures and inspection test plans. Maintain daily reports and log of daily activities.

Review the following procedures: welding related i.e. welding procedure specification, PQR, WPQR, NDT PWHT electrode storage and handling etc.

Performs routine surveillance of assigned areas and disciplines to ensure compliance with approved WPS and all applicable codes, standards, specifications and drawings.

Conduct witness and hold points identified in the quality Inspections, Liaise and checking required inspection and NDT of vendor’s package.

Ensure the field modification of red line mark-ups verification and preparation.

Familiar preparation of Weld Map.

Control and verification of electrode storage and distribution.

Witness Welding Procedure Qualification testing and Welder Qualification testing and reviews WPS/PQR per relevant Project specification and code.

Regular and timely raised RFIs to witness and verify technical inspections and materials testing as required by ITPs and IFC Drawings.

Review radiograph films and all relevant NDT reports (including PWHT review) as per applicable ITPs.

Ensure sub-contractors are generating and providing the required QC documentation on timely basis.

Ensure the materials / equipment used is approved by company and satisfy the requirements and project specifications.

Monitor, review and approved Quality Control Documentation progressively compiled during the project to ensure that all activities are recorded and reported as required.

Support the Project Management Team and QC Manager/ Supervisor.

Perform other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the direct supervisor/ manager
