Worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Malta, NY, on a travel assignment project. My position as a Mechanical Designer,

I worked with the Tool Install Division of AMTS/CH2M, assigned to the CVD Module Group. Had the oppportunity

to cross train in other functional process modules.

My work task consisted of design layout (new tool packages), Upgrades, facilities packaging, RFI_DCN incorporation, drawing updates, Field verification, Submittal Reviews, Record Drawings and Architectural tool layout. There were electrical duties also required.

My work was achieved with ACAD 2015, Excel (FAC Data Tables), KTA (tool hookup software), ToolTime (POC Data Base) and Newforma Info Exchange(Drawing Submittal Module).

BIM Mechanical Designer

I was working at M&W Group as a BIM Space Management Designer creating models for Global Foundries

in Malta, New York. The project PLS1 Extension required some travel to Malta.

My task has been to create piping models for various piping and process systems. Upgraded base build support racks and HVAC ducting. Interfaced with other disciplines to coordinate model interferences and space management.

The tools I have been using are Navisworks 2013, Revit MEP 2013 and AutoCAD 2013.

BIM Mechanical Designer

Working with TFS at Intel, Ocotillo Site. As a BIM Mechanical Designer, I have been 3d modeling for the Tool Install Group.

The tasks assigned included 3d modeling, ISO Extractions and field verification of process piping systems. The work consisted of field verification, pipe routing and creating ISO documentation from the models created for the tools.

Interfaced with field personnel on field walks in regards to routing issues and POC verification. Attended various milestone meetings per each tool assigned.

The software we used was AutoCAD 2013 with CADMech (a TSI product) 3D, an MEP program.

Wire ways for the complete tools. The software I am utilizing is REVIT MEP 2012 and Navisworks Simulate 2012.

of 3D routing layouts containing process piping, exhaust ducting, electrical conduit and wire ways.

The 3D software I used was AutocadMEP. I have been trained in the Clashing of tools using Navisworks

Manage 2013.

Other tasks have been to update 2D drawing packages for various revision levels using Autocad 2012.

Assisted in field walks collecting POC data and DMRF’s. I have performed QA/QC checks for various Tool Intalls.

SDC Materials (Contract Work) 10/06 to 09/10

Mechanical Designer

Working with SDC Materials, I helped in creating and designing components and assemblies for powder processing

equipment. I also worked on various reverse engineering projects that required formal documentation.

These drawings consist of sheet metal fabrication, process plumbing and machined parts for Powder

Feed Tools. Assisted with the finalizing of both mechanical and electrical P&ID’s pertaining to facilitating

the tools.

All the drawings were created with Inventor Version 2011, 3D modeling and 2D ACAD 2010.

Norcimbus 11/07 to 3/09

Mechanical Design/Engineer

Working with Norcimbus I was responsible for various design projects involving gas distribution systems for the semi-conductor and Solar industries. I was able to work independently on sheet metal, weldments, plumbing and assembly projects. The scope of task was to complete full assemblies of gas distribution panels and cabinets. With these tasks, it required layout and procurement of tubing, valves, regulators and other components with various tube connections.

My responsibilities included developing, reverse engineering and streamlining several engineering projects and product lines for this company which resulted in cost savings. I also had to dismantle and reassemble assemblies for measurement of components for the reverse engineering process, I instituted a higher level of detail that gave manufacturing a greater ease of understanding.

I was able to upgrade my knowledge with Inventor 2009 3D modeling and ACAD 2008. Also interfaced and communicated with venders on and off site.

Aqua Labz (a sub division of SDC Material) (Part Time Contract Work) 1/07 to 11/07

Mechanical Designer

Working with Aqua Labz, I helped design chemical sensing equipment for swimming pools. The scope of

work included modeling of plastic injection molded parts using Autodesk Inventor 11.

Working with SDC Materials, I helped in creating drawings for powder coating equipment. These drawings

consisted of sheet metal fabricated and machined parts for a blast box. All the drawings were created with

Inventor 2008, 3D modeling.

APS (Arizona Public Service), Contracting thru PDS 9/05 to 01/07

Mechanical Designer

Working with APS, I worked on various projects regarding Electrical Power Plants. My design skills were used in helping Engineers and Power Plant personal on multi projects regarding upgrades and improvements. These projects included P&ID’s, Plumbing and Mechanical layouts, Construction Drawings, and Structural support.

Traveled and Interfaced with specific Power Plants. My skills were enhanced with another form of file management called EDCS (Engineering Drawing Control System). This requirement included responsibilities in tracking and managing drawings from the start to final sign off.

My knowledge of ACAD increased and trained with Bentley Auto PLANT Design for P&ID’s, 3D Piping and Structural designs.

I assisted Engineers with R&D and new product design projects for the Semi-Conductor industry. These projects

derived from customer specifications and new product upgrades. A few of my job functions included producing and completing Engineering Changes (EC’s), Facility Requirements, P&ID’s, Schematics, Gas Box Designs, Tube Layout, Module Packaging, Sheet metal Fabrication, Machining, and new design layouts in the CVD and IPVD Divisions of TAZ.
