Coordinate clinical programs while working closely with a team of 7 MDs and 15 professional staff members. Responsible for fiscal planning, staffing and training, marketing, human resources, and business development initiatives in a practice with over $20M in annual revenues. Foster strong relationships with hospital partners to maintain the integrated delivery of care system-wide. Successfully developed new ventures, provided business planning, cultivated physician relationships, and daily operations management of all out- patientt imaging centers including successful startup of new whole body high field MRI service at the Capital Regions largest Orthopedic practice. Planned, designed, built, and opened new imaging centers in the Clifton Park and Glens Falls markets including the first non-Hospital based PET/CT service. Responsible for evaluating, selecting, and implementing new PACS system to ensure continuity of service for organization.
Saratoga Hospital, Saratoga Springs, NY 1999-2003
Administrative Director, Medical Imaging, Site Manager - Wilton Medical Arts In addition to effectively managing the Medical Imaging service line was chosen to fill an additional role as Site Manager, Wilton Medical Arts, a multiple discipline medical outpatient center. Effectively grew volume by over 20% while managing and developing an additional 35 professional staff. My initiatives saved over $100,000 annually with voice recognition technology for Radiology reports (a regional first) and $250,000 annually by implementing an in-house Radiology Engineer program. Managed 80 staff, provided all operational, fiscal, coding, budgetary, HR, short and long-term planning, and marketing for this service line. Evaluated, recommended, and acquired over $5.5 million in capital assets. Major projects successfully proposed, designed, and executed include a state of the art Diagnostic Breast Center at the Wilton Medical Arts Outpatient Center and implementation of a full PACS system while ensuring JCAHO and NYSDOH accreditation.
