Within the first 6 months at NGS/Wellpoint, I significantly payroll by being pulled into a 6 month long Senior Business Analyst project involving a stringent comparison of every EDI adjudication message to Medicare's Federal Regulations/Internet Only Manual and associated system cleanup. My efforts at NGS/Wellpoint resulted in receiving a letter of recommendation from Julia Meehan who is the head of Business Support Operations

Frequently utilized my SQL experience saving thousands of Aetna payroll dollars. During the first 6 months at Aetna, I did not perform the duties of my job descriptions as I was pulled into numerous management projects in order to identify data discrepancies that occurred within automated data transmissions between our clients and our system and determine solutions as my direct management did not know SQL.

Significantly reduced Aetna payroll costs and time through daily utilization of 15 years of VB/Access/Excel experience to manually create VB programs, at times larger than 15,000 lines long, for the use of the entire department in order to fully automate large scale (300 to 400) individual contractual updates turning 300-400 30+ day projects into a week or less individual project.

Greatly reduced Aetna's payroll by manually writing over 100 individual VB programs that automated contractual setup and implementation on a day to day basis.

Initiated an EDI/MCSDT system change via NGS and HP that enabled both the customer service representatives and written appeals representatives for all Medicare Contractors to instantaneously view the CPT/HCPCs code associated with the most common Medicare claim denial for bundled services as defined by the Correct Coding Initiative. Locating the code associated with the denial usually took anywhere from two to five minutes with the previous system setup. This efficiency will continuously save both contractors and the US Government copious amount of money, resources, and time

Initiated and implemented an 80 page Career Development Guide in order to assist all non-management employees in determining, planning, and reaching their career goals at AES/PHEAA.

Initiated and created a complete centralized Microsoft Front Page reference tool for 100 + loan types, every customer correspondence scenario, and every customer call center scenario.

Utilized my VB knowledge to fully automate NGS's DME's monetary claim award calculation that was previously and always a manual process in turn saving countless sums of money and time.

Initiated an EDI/MCSDT letter writer system change via NGS/Hewlett Packard for use by every single Medicare Contractor by making provider information auto-populate on a letter rather than manually entering the information continuously saving both contractors and the US Government money.

Greatly reduced Commonwealth Packaging's payroll by initiating and implementing a system environment via Excel, Access, and Adobe for all administrative personnel, sales personnel, logistic analysts, financial officers and executives allowing immediate, remote, point in time access to every single document associated with an international sales order and the logistics of appropriating the merchandise across North America.
