KMM TELECOMMUNICATION Fairfield, NJ 2005 to 2015

(Supply chain organization providing strategic supply chain and engineering services, from sourcing to delivery, with a focus on Fortune 50 wireless and wire-line communication companies.)

PRESIDENT BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Successfully built high performing executive teams, leading sophisticated supply chain operations and engineering services, including sales & marketing, with P&L responsibility over $850M in 2014. Clients include Verizon, AT&T, General Dynamics, Ericsson, Sprint and Alcatel-Lucent. Recently lead the sales initiative, development of the solution and was awarded a $280M contract with Verizon for their FIOS optical network terminals and became General Dynamics national supply chain services provider for their wireless civil division.

Achieved revenue growth from the mid $200M in 2005 to over $850M in 2014 growing EBITDA over 250% in a very challenging economic time.

Strategically developed three new business divisions that transitioned KMM from a cable cutting company to highly sophisticated sales fulfillment company, of wireless & wire-line material.

Restructured two internal companies to one brand in 2010.

Built a Tier 1 & 2 distribution network in North America from the ground up, currently operating over 1 million sq. ft. of highly automated centers that ship over $700 per year.

Develop annual sales and operational budgets with input from each division, setting high financial goals that ensure the financial solvency of the corporation, and drive results.

Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Client Solutions New Century, KS 2001 to 2005

Responsible for over $600 million in revenue providing an integrated Supply Chain Solutions, Product Distribution, and Engineer Furnish & Install (EF&I) services for the communications industry. Developed and implemented business plans, including sales growth forecast, gross margin and profit, operational expense, operating income, and EBITDA. Managed an organization of over 300 employees in field sales, sales support, and engineering services.

Executive lead for an end-to-end total supply chain diversity solution that resulted in the largest outsourcing contract ever, at Sprint North Supply. Designed and implemented the team governance, financial model, end-to-end systems integration, and operational model with two diversity companies.

Lead contract negotiations with Bell South, resulting in awarded business of over $300M in revenue per year. Lead the implementation of critical business solutions, fully operational in less than four months, exceeding client expectations.

Awarded and implemented seven new Supply Chain Outsourcing multi-year contracts valued from $15 million to $200 million per year in the last 18 months. Client portfolio included Bell South, Qwest Communication, Hawaii Telecom, Nortel, Tellabs, Ericsson, and CenturyTel.

Recruited and developed a staff of seven directors in charge of seventy-five (75) Field Sales Managers in the continental United States. Directly responsible for strategic channel sales planning, development, team building, and sales execution for customer account development, revenue and gross margin to maximize company profits.

Instrumental in the design of a Client Solutions organization, which is a single support group that has responsibility for field sales support, customer quotes, technical proposals, branding, sales collateral, financial pro-forma, strategic and tactical pricing, sales contracts, and implementation. Recruited a team of top performers to lead and develop this initiative.

Vice President, Distribution Operations New Century, KS 1996 to 2001

Responsible for the National Distribution Center Network consisting of nine facilities with a staff of over 500 non-union full time employees. Responsible for an operational budget of over $38 million or 45% of the company's operating expense and over 1.8 million square feet of space and shipping of over $1 billion dollars of product.

Executive sponsor for selection and implementation of state-of-art supply chain technologies, which created a market differential that resulted in an evaluation of new service platforms.

Recruited and developed three regional managers and nine operational managers with the direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations.

Managed a national internal staff of design and project personnel that engineered processes, operational layout, and functions that would increase production in the distribution network.

Director, Logistics Operations New Century, KS 1992 to 1996

Responsible for over $200 million of general inventory with inventory turns of 5.1. Also managed the cycles of cash flow by extending the supplier’s days-to-pay by 25 %.

Regional Distribution Manager New Century, KS 1990 to 1992

Directed a workforce of 300 non-union employees involved in physical distribution and transportation of telecommunication products within ten distribution centers nationwide.

Distribution Manager, New Century, KS & Dayton NJ 1978 to 1994

Initially hired as a Distribution Person in Edison NJ, then promoted to Distribution Supervisor in 1979. In 1982 earned promotion to Distribution Manager, responsible for a 200,000 square foot distribution center, with 40 employees. Accepted promotion in 1988 to Distribution Manager in charge of their Kansas distribution center, with increased responsibility to 65 FTE’s.
