Dr. Brock Woodson Coastal Engineering Lab, UGA (2013-2015)

I engineered sustainable solutions normally experienced in coastal communities under the expertise of Dr. Brock Woodson. Performed and presented data analysis while I designed laboratory experiments and worked on field data for potential research publications. I preformed lab administrative tasks such as organizing lab equipment. I used and mastered Matlab for data analyzing.

Senior Design Project, UGA (Spring 2014)

Designed and fabricated an anatomically correct prostate device to assist training medical students or any individual on how to conduct a proper DRE exam for prostate cancer screening. The low cost device was innovated to allow the user to detect the difference in feel between a cancerous and a non-cancerous prostate. My role in the project involved conducting research and construction of the device itself by using the Solid works software and 3D printing.

Robotics Lab Volunteer, UGA (Spring 2014- Fall 2014)

Assembled and tested biomedical equipment such as an EKG machine for heart monitoring. Worked in teams on laboratory assignments and I developed scripts with the use of C++, java, and Matlab for acquiring data and running programs.

Marine Science Lab (MARS), UGA (2013-2014)

Position Earned: CEO. I headed a team that designed a remote operated vehicle (ROV) for national competition. I used the solid works software to design the ROV for competition. Learned and mastered basic robotics skills and organized presentations about the design. I was the point of contact for recruitment.

I assembled and piloted the ROV to do certain tasks that was graded in a national competition.
