Laboratory Technician 5/2015-Present

Currently working in the dispersion science laboratory at PPG Industries. The duties include making and testing paint products before they are approved for production. Once at production, the dispersion science lab oversees the large-scale process to make paint.

Muskie Fellowship Summer Research Internship 6/2014 to 8/2014

Worked with faculty in the chemistry and geology departments investigated the chemical properties and the gas capacity of Marcellus Shale. Responsibilities for this internship included: literature research, experimental design, experimental procedures and analysis, weekly conferences with the Geology Department, presentation of findings, and documenting the research so others may continue.

Summer Employment

The Lakes Golf and Country Club 04/2009 to 08/2015

Seasonally employed as a lifeguard and manager at the Lakes Golf and Country Club in Westerville, OH. This job required certifications through the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and AED. As a lifeguard my duties consisted of patron surveillance, maintaining a safe and clean pool, and responding to emergencies. As a manager my duties consisted of balancing pool chemistry, organizing lifeguard rotations and safety inspections, being the lead decision maker in emergencies, and being the head of patron interactions.
