ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Mutual Exclusion Service using Raymond's Tree-Based Mutual Exclusion Algorithm

Used SCTP Sockets for communication between nodes.

Implemented a spanning tree which is used by the Raymond's algorithm.

Designed two separate modules namely the application module that requests and executes CS and the system module that implements the mutual exclusion algorithm to co-ordinate critical section executions of all processes so that they do not overlap.

GUI Based Airline System

Conceptualized and controlled the implementation of standalone library management application using Java Swing.

Established the connection of Front End with MYSQL database using JDBC. Android Based Ticket Booking App

Developed Android based movie ticket booking App based on a Client - Server architecture using Java.

Used TCP Socket for client - server communication with android mobile as a client and PC as server.

Established the connection of front end with MS-Access Database using JDBC. Interactive Web Application for after school program

Developed a website to capture and manage data for after school program for kids with Student, Instructors and Admin as Users.

Used WAMP Server and designed web pages using HTML, CSS, JQuery, AJAX and PHP. MYSQL database was used for data storage and retrieval.

Event Driven Simulation of a Markovian Queuing System

Simulated a Markovian queuing system where requests arrive to a website according to Poisson process.

Calculated the performance metrics based on the requests.
