MAIN PROJECT: JET ENGINE PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

DESCRIPTION:

GE Engines are analyzed by the software GE DIAGNOSTICS which is provided by GE. There is certain parameters that will indicate the performance level of the engine such as DEGT, DFF, DN2, Hot day margin etc. The trend of such parameters will be shown in graphical form, by this software and by analyzing this trend we can know the performance level or maintenance action which is to be taken in case anomalies occur. We conducted the on-site work of this project at Jet Airways facility in Mumbai. I believe this project gained me invaluable industrial experience and exposure.

Mini project: ANALYTICAL STUDY OF SINGLE PASSENGER AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION:

The objective of my project was to know the various single passenger aircraft in the world now and to do a detailed analytical study on the latest developed prototype ELECTRIC PUFFIN by NASA. Electric propulsion is used for the propulsive force and consists of 2 rotors along with lithium ion batteries.
