RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Research Officer at Centre of Research of Enhance Oil Recovery (COREOR), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia.

Performed an experimental research on silica dissolution in ASP flooded oilfields which funded by Y-UTP – PETRONAS, the responsibilities included:

Development of new static model describes the behavior of silica dissolution.

Address the impact of silica scaling on formation damage. Page 2 of 5

Presentation and Publication of papers at international conferences and indexed journals. Teaching Assistant (Jan ’13 – April ’15):

Assist in conducting tutorial classes and LAB demonstrations for first and second year relevant courses of Petroleum Engineering.

Help in preparing tests, assignments and exam invigilation. Relevant Courses includes:

i. Reservoir Rock and Fluid Properties (Tutorial, Assignments and LAB coordinator). ii. Reservoir Engineering I (Tutorial + Assignments). iii. Introduction to Oil and Gas Industry (Assignments + Tests). RESEARCH INTEREST

My research interest area is covering the chemical injection applications of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques. For decades; several productivity issues were reported due to ASP flooding method at different oilfields. However, more researches has been directed to investigate and address the cause of these problems and the possible ways to solve it. My recent research work is focusing on the silica scaling issue, which is the most severe problem that occurs associated with ASP flooding. Further investigations are needed in this area in order to fully understand the issue and the ways to control it. INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
