Responsible for the overall Human Resource function of multiple retail stores in the South East region, including wage and salary administration, employee relations, administration of benefit programs and health services, and recruitment and onboarding of new employees.

Works closely with site managers, employees, and Corporate Human Resources to carry out all company policies and procedures and develop new programs to enhance employee relations.

Maintains a competitive pay structure for positions in the labor market area. Monitors area labor market activity.

Conducts wage and salary surveys for appropriate geographical area.

Creates new job descriptions and evaluates existing job descriptions as necessary.

Oversee initiation, development, and completion of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Responsible for working directly with HR Service Unit Manager in maintaining solutions content. Recording and updating all HR processes, procedures, and workflows. (FAQs, LMS, HR Help Desk, scripts, job aids, workflows, etc) and on Quality Initiatives.

Monitors and analyzes closed HR Help Desk reports, individual inquiries/cases, new trends and events to determine if scripts need updating or training is needed on HR specific topics for HR team or company wide.

Responsible for conducting and/or coordinating training for the HR team on processes, procedures, workflows, skills, technologies, etc.

HR Service Unit account manager for multiple systems to include PeopleSoft, FACETS, NexTrack, CRM/Help Desk, IVR/Telephone, Kronos, etc. Works directly with HRIS and other parties to assure all systems utilized are configured, updated and tested properly.

Escalation/Resource Coordinator: Serves as a liaison to parties inside and outside of HR including vendors to resolve escalated issues. Decision Point for undocumented escalation avenues.

Project Manager for continuous improvement initiatives and other divisional assignments.

Liaison for Human Resources Business Consultants, Total Rewards and other areas of HR

Project manager for employee service anniversary gift and event programs: plans, budgets, negotiates contracts on behalf of BCBST and coordinates two high profile events each year.
