Initially recruited as the Sr. Manager of Purchasing to develop and implement a new Purchasing department, including end- to-end cross- functional approach to vendor selection processes (including Engineering, Quality, and Program Management), new invoice approval procedures for foreign suppliers, aligning purchasing and receiving with SOX, CT-PAT and GAAP requirements. Created and released all RFP/RFQ/RFI templates, managing process through award. Additionally served as SME for purchasing and supply chain systems architecture during the creation and installation of Oracle ERP systems. Purchased knowledge base solutions (MindTouch, Moxie and IBM), DBM tools (Cloud and off-shore server), data repository and call center management solutions.
