Major project: Design of an Avionics Bracket

In present invention the design of missile instrument panel depends on the avionics instrument that can be mounted in various positions based on geometry packages. . Frequency is one of the critical phenomenon’s for structure failure. In this present work we consider the rectangular plate for frequency analysis and modal analysis. For this analysis we consider Aluminium(AA2014), Titanium(Ti-6AL-4V),Stainless Steel(SS-304) and Glass epoxy.So the main criteria of our project is to predict the natural frequency by adjusting the mass of an avionics bracket and need to find out the thickness of avionics bracket to resist the frequency as well as mass of an avionics systems. Due to the advance in the FEM and mechanical vibrations analysis of this problem is possible.Modal analysis carried out to predict the natural frequency, For modal analysis we use element as shell181 in Ansys software. This report gives the details of shell models with minimum mass and thickness which will suits for the avionics bracket.

Mini-project: Buckling Analysis On Hallow Circular Cylinder

Buckling is a critical phenomenon in structural failure under compression load. Buckling strength of the structures depends on many parameters like supports, linear material, composite material or nonlinear material etc. Buckling behavior is also influenced by thermal loads and imperfections. Analyzing all these conditions is difficult task. So few parameters are considered for the present work. In present thin walled cylinders are considered for buckling analysis under uniformly distributed load. Shell181 element from ANSYS software in elastic and plastic ranges is used.

Poster presentation on SR-71 and got 2nd place at CMRTC.

Participated on Chemical Rocket at MLRIT.

Participated on 3-D Printing at VNR Vignana Jyothi.

Participated on The Aerotrix All India Ornithopter challenge at CMRTC.

Paper Presentation on Nuclear Propulsion and got 2nd place at CMRTC.

Participated on All India Essay Writing and achieved silver medal at Century High School.
