EXPERIENCE

Sofvue – Business Analyst / Lead Project Manager ( 11 years ) Phoenix, Arizona

Mar 2004 – Present

As a senior business analyst and software project manager, I have successfully designed, managed and launched hundreds of projects across a wide range of industries saving my clients millions of dollars. Past clients include private enterprise, Fortune 300 firms, the dental and medical industry, real estate, the U.S. military (USAF – non-combat), higher education and large education research companies. In addition to gathering and managing business and programming requirements, I’ve managed teams of 2-30 programmers developing multi-million dollar application systems. I’m also highly skilled creating both low and high-fidelity wireframes and I’ve written thousands of use-case scenarios, algorithms and countless project deliverables. Additionally, upon completion of each iterative Statement of Work (SOW), I serve as the lead project manager ensuring project milestones and UAT requirements are fulfilled. I work directly with senior stakeholders and team leads managing project goals and expectations, development teams, as well as project contract negotiations, scope change requests and cost overruns. Upon completion of sprints, I deliver all required technical documentation, training manuals and for larger projects, screen-capture video training materials. Occasionally, I travel onsite to deliver training to management teams and end-users. For branding and marketing purposes, the company name was changed from DataTitan to Sofvue in March 2010, and operated under DataTitan between March 2004 and March 2010.

Fidelity National Information Services (FNIS) – Regional IT Director (Southern United States) ( 8 years )

San Antonio, Texas and Santa Barbara, California

Feb 1995 – Feb 2004

As Regional IT Director for the Southern region of the United States, I successfully managed IT operations for over 900 branch locations of the company, including national brands Fidelity National Title, Alamo Title Insurance Company, TICOR and Surety Union Title. I played a pivotal role in helping redesign the company’s primary business tool, SIMON, a project requiring two years to design and three years to develop and release. Over a two year span, I interviewed and gathered business requirements from over 1,000 users across five states. I help assemble the management and development team in California, helped lead a scoping team to design the software, and then assisted with the rollout to over 50,000 desktops nationwide. I reported directly to the national CIO. In 2002, I deployed the Fidelity Information Systems Team (FIST) system, a regional web application designed to consolidate regional IT network and data center engineers, reduce Time to Resolve (TTR) service tickets as well as reduce overall payroll 10% over a five year span. (FIST) also facilitated a five tier task/points management system requiring IT staff to earn a pre-defined number of points before reaching evaluation-ready status. Given the perception of IT as a cost center, not a revenue center, this approach eliminated virtually all non-producers across the enterprise and dramatically improved the IT evaluation and raise process. Additionally, between 2002 and 2004, I managed the construction and launch of two IT Support Call Centers, one in Austin, Texas and the other in Denver, Colorado. Once opened, the call centers jointly supported 8,000+ users. This effort greatly improved trouble-ticket communications and lowered overall response times, in some cases by as much as 35%. Further, the opening of the call centers facilitated the closure of surrounding “smaller” support centers allowing one center to grow the support base and lower operational overhead, even with added time and hotel and travel costs of IT network engineers. After the first year of implementation, the call centers lowered overhead costs by an estimated half a million dollars.

I also taught courses across Texas as an approved Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI) instructor for the Texas Association of Realtors, as well as the Spencer School of Real Estate. It was also during this time I published “Perceptions of Value – Real Estate Appraisal Theory”, while also serving as Senior Consulting Editor to “Texas Real Estate Agency Law”. “Perceptions of Value” was inducted to the Library of Congress in 1992 (Library of Congress HD 1387 - T661992-ISBN 10-096*******). At its peak, the company was appraising over three hundred single family residential, residential income and small commercial investment properties each month. While with the company, I became a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraisal through the Texas Real Estate Commission, and I directly appraised over 3,000 residential and small income producing properties over a four county area.
