I went through the nursing program through the career technical center for 2 years, by my second year I was studying to become a certified nurse assistant, I passed all my tests, skills testing, and clinicals with a 90% or better.

[During the time of working at Ponderosa steakhouse I learned how to cook hot food that goes on the buffet, how to stock the buffets with food, I learned good team work also, I was able to get along well with all my co-workers. [While working at Travlers I started working as a busser, who cleaned tables and made sure everything was stocked for the waitresses, I then worked my way up to working in the kitchen doing dishes and making pizzas, I went from working just a couple days a week to almost every day. ]

[while working at Ponderosa I received employee of the month, it was a very rewarding thing to know that my managers acknowledged and noticed my hard work, while working at Travlers we received bonuses for all of our hard work. While working at Altercare I learned how to work with and deal with residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, it was very rewarding to work with these residents day in and day out, being able to take care of them, and hear all of their stories that they remembered from their childhood.]
